March 2021

We daily thank you for your prayers.  It seems like each day brings new situations of needs.

Our member of Victory Baptist Church that was in the hospital for three weeks is slowly getting his strength back, and walks with a walker.  His diabetes is now under control.  His wife is happy he can finally make it to the table, so they can eat together!

Silvia is still going through medical tests to find her problems.  Her husband and sons are back to normal.

Both Stephen and Martha had health problems this last month, but no COVID-19, for which we thank the LORD.

We were able to have services with 30% of our church congregation on March 7 and 14 and able to celebrate the Lord’s Supper, which was a blessing to all who could be present.  We have about five in baptismal classes.  Churches are closed again until at least April 18. For two years now we have not been able to have our Easter campaigns, when people are a little more receptive to the Word of God.  April 11 is Election Day.  There are many candidates for the presidency; most of them have liberal thinking.  Please pray for Peru’s election.

March 8, our 2021 Bible College year began with good services on the life of Jonah and the need to have God’s love in our lives to serve others. Twenty-two students were able to come to the Bible College campus.  We have 70 students virtual  from areas of Peru and Ecuador. Only 54 are full time students.  We have had two weeks of virtual classes.  Some students live in areas where they do not have constant lights and internet.  That is a struggle for both student and professor.

Thank you again for all your prayers for us and each ministry.

Stephen and Evelyn Stilwell
