“And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” (Jas. 5:15 ESV)

I’m sending our weekly prayer team update to everyone in our database because of the importance of these requests.

Praises:

  • Holly recovered from having covid, and so far no one else in the family has gotten sick.
  • Luz Dary, one of our members, struggled for almost a month with covid but is now recovering.
  • God is uniting our church in prayer because of the trials the church family has been facing.

Prayer requests:

  • Alfredo and his family (Juana, Santiago and Lina) all have covid. Please pray especially for Alfredo, as he is the one who is the sickest at this point. The doctor is recommending that he be hospitalized, but he and Juana are not sure about whether that is the best plan since the medical care here isn’t always the best.
  • I just got a call from Rodolfo, one of our deacons in training. He also has covid. Please pray for him, and especially for his wife Damaris, who is a cancer survivor.

Thanks for praying!

I’m sending our weekly prayer team update to everyone in our database because many of you have asked how things are going here. If you would like to be a part of the Weekly Prayer Team, you can sign up here.

Praises:

  • Alfredo was hospitalized last week, but he was released on Friday.
  • Rodolfo has continued to struggle with covid, but he’s getting better. To this point his wife and children haven’t been infected.

Prayer requests:

  • For continued restoration of the health of Alfredo, Rodolfo and Holly. Alfredo has been weak. Rodolfo has had a constant headache for several days, and Holly still doesn’t have a lot of energy.
  • Holly and Eliana will be traveling to the U.S. next week (July 8th). Please pray for their trip and for Eliana’s transition to life in the United States.
  • For the ministry here in Santa Marta. We have felt like we take two steps forward and three backwards this year. Pray that God would allow us to fulfill his purposes and that we could see some new open doors for ministry and the gospel.

Thanks for praying!
Jonathan
