Dear Praying Friends,
God is so faithful. We stand in amazement in His great unwavering faithfulness. Let me share a few highlights of this past month:
TTZ. Our theological training institute had its first graduation. 10 years ago BMM missionaries Jeff Brown and Burdette Bergen alongside national pastor Oliver Meyer started the training institute. There were 5 graduates who expressed gratitude to God and all the teachers for what God had done in their hearts. These graduates are all faithfully serving in local churches.
Church formation. On June 20th, the fellowship in Ingelheim had their church formation Sunday. It was a joy to be apart of this wonderful service. The excitement and joy there was in the room seeing a church start is exciting. Christ is still building His church today!
Camp. Our summer camp is a go. The Covid rules have relaxed enough that we could start concrete planning. On July 3rd we had our planning meeting and there was such a sweet spirit amongst all the workers. I had not seen most of these believers for over a year and a half. The first week of August we will have 110 kids and teens in camp. We are excited about what God will do.
Mission Agency. The newly formed German mission agency representative came to our church to present the need of the agency. It was exciting to see Viktor share the history and love for the missionaries who have labored the past 50+ years in Germany. He has the privilege to stand on their shoulders to see God do great things in years to come. The people in our church are excited about the opportunities this mission agency offers.
Church in Neumarkt. I have been preaching through “What is the church.” This past Wednesday a couple asked to become members. Another lady who has been opposed to baptism, is now open and praying about it. A visiting gentleman asked me on Sunday for a conversation about membership. God is faithfully bringing people to the church in Neumarkt. Christ is building His church!
School. The kids are still in school till the end of the month. They currently are taking tests to see if they have any “holes” in the school material. Since they were “home-schooled” from November through May. It is neat to see how the kids are being rewarded for their diligence and hard work for sticking with it. Please pray for them to finish strong.
House/move. We told you that God opened up the door for us to buy a house as our rental agreement was terminated by our landlords. We signed last October and have been waiting to get the house in September. This past Friday we learned that we can get the house the middle of August. We rejoice in this as school starts up the middle of September again. This way we have more time to get things moved and renovated.
Family. The kids have been mostly healthy. Natalie struggles at times with sinus issues (which can quickly turn into ear issues). Overall we are thankful for God’s provision of health. Miriam is 4 months old now and is a terrific sleeper at night . We praise God for this!
We are so thankful for God’s faithfulness and how He is in the littlest detail. Thank you for praying and upholding us before the throne room of God! He hears your prayers!
For His Glory,
Mark and Leslie Boyd |
