Dear Prayer Partner,                         October 12, 2022

Our hearts are filled with thankfulness to God!  For three years we have prayed for Luis David’s salvation; last Sunday he made a profession of faith (9 yrs old-his parents are Reinaldo and Daniela from Venezuela). Reinaldo 39 and Andres (29 Cuba) are now helping with leading music every other Sunday which is a blessing to see!  Douglas (14 Mexico) shared with us that he also made a profession of faith at home during the pandemic (he and his family have been in our church since 2018) and he is now assisting David with a primary Sunday School class.  Isabella (15 American-saved in 2020) asked to give her testimony on Wednesday in front of all the teens saying, “I am thankful for a friend (in the public school) like Cynthia; who I was able to go to when I was having a really hard time. And I am so glad I can come every Wed. to youth group cuz it has helped me get closer to God.”  Andy (48 Uruguay) willingly shared his testimony of salvation with the group of men that met last Saturday for an Argentine BBQ at our home:  5/12 were unsaved in that audience (including our Colombian neighbor Jhon…yes, that’s how you spell it). Pray for his salvation and that of: Yury, Bryan, Jose and Cristian (Peru and Argentina).

You once read the story about Raquel (68 Argentina) who lost her husband and daughter to Covid when the pandemic first hit in 2020.  Raquel has been fighting cancer for 12 years and has been given just days to live.  Saturday, October 1st, at the hospital she accepted Christ as her Savior and squeezed Talitha’s hand so tight begging for us to share the gospel with her son Cristian (who went to men’s bbq a week later and stayed until midnight hearing the good news of Jesus Christ; please keep praying for him!).

Two Sundays in a row now, we have had new visitors specifically because they drove by and saw the sign announcing a Spanish service on Sunday.  Praise the Lord! Many special events to pray about: Ladies meeting this Friday, Teens movie night Oct 21, starting new adult Bible study, our family presenting our Latino ministry in two churches in Fort Worth, TX on Nov 20 and Live Nativity in December.

PROJECTS: 1. English books for our ESL students. 2. Large soccer goals 24×8.  3. Bibles and tracts for the Live Nativity event in December.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Sending you all a big bear hug!  Â

We appreciate your faithful prayers and financial support. God bless you.
