Dear Praying Friends,
thank you for faithfully praying for us. We appreciate it so much. Here are a few updates:
Church. This entire year we have been praying for love and unity in the church. These past few months have been very trying. The contentious family continued to attack the church and me personally. It came to a head a few weeks ago when the church informed them we were ready to place them under church discipline for being unrepentant of their sin. The family had one final attack and removed themselves from the membership. The family has left but is now causing problems in our sister churches. Please pray for continued unity and for protection in the fellowship of churches. As a result of these attacks, the church is very unified and there is a tremendous amount of love in helping each other focus upon the Lord.
TTZ. Our theological training institute (TTZ) has been a real encouragement for me. I am teaching dispensationalism and the students have been interacting very well with the material. They have been a blessing to teach. There will be more students graduating at the end of this school year. It is exciting to see how these men and women desire to serve the Lord.
Family. We are at this moment all healthy. We are enjoying good health for this time of year. Natalie continues to take her arthritis medication and it seems to help her flare ups be much shorter and not as severe. The kids are looking forward to being active in the kids Christmas play on fourth Advent Sunday.
Evangelism. We are planning a Christmas cookies and coffee time on third Advent Sunday. Our church has never done this and is very excited to try something new. Please pray for the preparations and planning. The Christmas play is always a good time for unsaved husbands to come and hear the gospel. Please pray for these unsaved people to come. On Christmas Eve we also have a service and always have lots of guests. Please pray for the contacts for these upcoming opportunities to share Christ.
Coworkers. Our new coworkers, the McCrocklins arrived in September, and God provided for them an apartment the first of November. We are thankful for how God is encouraging us through them. Please pray for them as they transition to life here in Germany. Pray for their oldest daughter who has started school.
Thank you for praying, we are so thankful for your partnership.
For His Glory,
Mark and Leslie Boyd
