“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Eph. 6:12 ESV)
This is a just a short update, but I read Ephesians 6 yesterday and was reminded that our battle is again spiritual forces of evil. For that reason I wanted to encourage you to pray for the following requests and give thanks to God for his blessings here in Colombia.
Praises:
- We were blessed to have Scott Carter here with us last weekend. He taught a workship on expository preaching and preached on Sunday. We remembered good times and were encouraged to hear how he and his family are doing.
Prayer requests:
- Pray for Hector, who will be preaching for the first time tomorrow. His text isn’t easy (Judges 9 on Abimelech), but he’s excited to share God’s Word.
- Pray for our youth camp (Dec. 1-3). As I’ve mentioned before, the majority of this group are not saved yet. Pray that we could clearly teach the gospel message and that God would use his Word in their lives. The theme is “Unbreakable.”
- Pray for the salvation of Pablo, a 21-year-old with whom I’ve started a Bible study. He’s been attending faithfully for a month, and God is working in his heart.
In Christ,
