Steven is the grandson of Jeni. Has been inseparable from his Grandma since birth, when his mom had left him with Jeni after his father had abandoned the family. In Zambia, there are many families with a “lost generation”. Grandparents are caring for their grandchildren as the primary mother and father. Jeni and Mary have each been the mother to their grandchildren daily.
I hope you will join us in praying for our first two Granny Homes in Zambia. We could use your prayers as we grow this ministry to include more Granny homes and help families. We plan to add more families as support comes in for them.
It is through our child sponsorship ministry Hearts of Compassion that children like Steven can rest in his own bed, fill his stomach with nourishment, learn of Jesus’ love, and for the first time, look ahead to an education to build his future.
