Dear Praying Friends,

At our evangelistic bus outreach 3 teenagers came back all three days with great questions. They heard the gospel clearly and were impressed with the simplicity of faith. Last week Joshua is sitting in religion class and his teacher says that Jesus was just a religious fanatic. The boy sitting in front of him is one of the biggest bullies in the class and he raises his hand and informs the teacher, “that is not what the people at the bus said.” Joshua connected with the kid after class and continued the discussion from the people at the bus. Please pray for this surprising connection of how God is working in the life of a boy in Joshuas class.

We are gearing up for camp the first week of August. We have 10 kids and teens going from our church. The kids are very excited to be going to camp. Please pray for the final preparations and for prepared hearts.

The week after Camp (August 10-12) we will have a Lego evangelistic outreach at our church. Our coworker Crystal Buegel has collected over 200.000 Lego’s to do this ministry and we will be inviting kids from the community to hear the gospel and build a city to reveal to their parents on the final night. Please pray for these preparations and for the gospel to be clearly presented.

Natalie completed her 10th grade of school after taking comprehensive tests and passed them all with flying colors. She will be switching to a new school in the fall. Her arthritis has also been flaring up and gave her trouble while writing all of her exams. The doctor did start her on arthritis medication now. Please pray for it to give her some alleviation.

We are so thankful to God for your prayers.

For His Glory,

Mark and Leslie Boyd

Dear Praying Friends,

Camp starts tomorrow. This is the first year that the new German missions organization is organizing the camp. This camp has been serving the churches in our fellowship over 65 years. Camp:Maranatha has been around for a long time. It is exciting to see the nationals taken ownership of the camp ministry and the privilege to then come along side of my close friends and do this camp ministry together. There are 73 teens, 64 kids registered. Please pray for safety for the drive there and back. Pray for safety at camp with all the games, fun and activities. Please pray for God to work in the hearts of the kids, teens and counselors.

Please pray for unity in the church. There has been a fair amount of discord and bitterness. Please pray for God to work in a gracious way to release the bitterness in the hearts of those involved. God is working, and I am thankful for much wisdom as I talk to those involved.

This past Friday all of our kids got their final report cards and all passed their respective grades. We are now on summer break and the kids are excited. This has been an interesting school year and we a ready for a break from school. We start back up again September 13th.

The week after camp we gear up as a church to have a Lego outreach event. Our coworker Crystal Buegel is organizing the event for our church. Please pray for the final preparations and for those that have been invited.

Below we have a short video of our drive home. We moved out into the country last year. We drive up the hill (mountain) through the woods to our small village. It is a beautiful drive. Joshua was excited to help out with this little project. Enjoy!

Thank you for praying for us! We truly appreciate it!

For His Glory,

Mark and Leslie Boyd
