Dear Prayer Partner,                                         December 5, 2023 We praise the Lord for a year filled with many exciting events and ministries which lead to many opportunities to witness here in Harris county TX! Teaching English as a second language, food pantry, weekly soccer and tournaments, movie nights, door to door outreach, ladies and men ministries, youth camp, youth events, kids club, Sunday school, vacation Bible school, individual Bible studies, Easter & Christmas programs and the baptism of 10 believers. To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. Luke 1:79 There were 50 souls who made professions of faith in this Latino ministry since we arrived in TX.   All Glory to God!  Amen! These 50 are from these 12 countries: Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, El Salvador, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Korea, Mexico, Paraguay, USA and Venezuela.  Pray that we may continue to disciple them; that they grow spiritually and long to serve God from the bottom of their hearts. During our ladies Christmas Bible study, we talked about Mary the mother of Jesus. When it was Maria Rosa’s turn to share what comes to mind when she thinks of Mary, she stated: “I really know nothing about Mary but I know I’m about to learn a lot about her.†She grew up in Cuba and never set foot in a church in her 76 years. We thought surely she knew something about the mother of Jesus but to our amazement she said, “I know nothing about her.†We thank God for her profession of faith in September and are excited to watch her grow!  Continue to pray for Ifrael not only for his salvation but that God will provide him a car; his was stolen 3 days ago! Pray: December Ministry Events 7 in 20 days!Pray: Travel safety for Sophia, Michelle and David over winter break.  Pray as Dario and Talitha both continue Bible studies with men and women.  Pray Cynthia continues to be a light in her school with the kids and us with the parents; it’s been a great place for outreach!  Pray for these people’s salvation: Ifrael, Michel, Elio, Milagro, Hans. Isbel, Jhon, Perla, Priscila, Alejandra+4, Pilar, Eduardo, Yury, Vilma & Julien (from Cuba, El Salvador, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, & France). The list could go on but these are ones that we have more contact with lately. Thank you to all who donated to projects throughout 2023; you have no idea what a great encouragement and help you have been to our ministry to the Latinos! PROJECTS: #1 Sophia’s old car is on its last leg. #2 Official size Soccer Goals 24×8 and balls. #3 ESL books, Bibles and Tracts. #4 Food Pantry supplies for the community where about 40% of the families that come are Latino. #5 gifts for community on Sunday Dec 17 HELP WANTED: Looking for a God-loving, compassionate, mission-minded, flexible, bilingual, trained couple with a passion for the lost (particularly the Latinos) to work alongside us in ministry. If you feel God is leading you in this direction, please take much time in prayer then contact us. If you know of someone, you can give out our contact information.
