| Dear Praying Friends,
God is good. As a family we have been encouraged to see how our kids and the church people have been learning to let go and let God.
TTZ. Our theological Institute (TTZ) had our second graduation. There were 4 graduates and it was a joy to hear from them the value they have placed on the training they have received in preparation for the ministries God is calling them to. Please pray for these 4 individuals and families as they prepare themselves for active ministry.
Evangelism. Next weekend (June 23-25) we have invited a guest speaker to come and speak to the topic of “suffering and where is God”. He will be holding 3 seminars. As a church we have been praying for this event for months. Almost all 250 invitation have been personally handed out. The newspapers are running an add for the event. Our internet site has had much more up traffic the last month. Please pray for the hearts of those who will come to be ready to be confronted with truth and the gospel. Pray for the speaker to speak the truth clearly. We are excited for God to do great things. Will you join us in prayer?
Gospel opportunity. This past week Joshua was at a job exposure week. He got to spend time getting to know the innerworkings of ambulances and the call center. While there he was talking to his boss and she read his resume and noticed he was American. She asked why Americans were in Neumarkt and not military. He shared the gospel with her and she then asked, “What is the name of the church? I was talking to a guy from your church a few weeks ago at the grocery store and he shared the same message with me. After that conversation, I left the Roman Catholic church and have been looking for this church. I need truth and more of this message.” So Joshua gave her a tract with church contact info. The next day she had already listened to several sermons and was amazed at the clear messages. Pray for this lady and her salvation. Pray she will visit church soon.
As this opportunity illustrates, God has given us the responsibility to sow the Gospel message. He will give the increase. There have been others who have shared the gospel in her life, and Joshua is one more part of that. Please pray for your own opportunities to faithfully communicate and live the gospel message. You do not know what God is working in the lives of others. We must be bold to share.
Bible reading. A gentleman (K) whom I have been witnessing to for 8 years started reading the gospel of John with his believing wife back in April. They have continued to read it. He has often requested for her to read the Bible when she forgets. Please pray for the truths of the gospel of John to penetrate his heart. He is planning on attending one of the seminars on suffering next weekend. Pray for ‘K’ to be saved.
School. Our kids are still in school till the end of July. Please pray for them to finish strong and to be a witness where God has placed them. It is difficult for them at times. Pray for them. Our summer break does not start till August. We will kick of summer with a week of kids and teen camp.
