Dear Praying Friends,

Thank you so much for praying. We are gearing up for 2 major events coming up.

Event 1: Camp. This Sunday afternoon kids and teen camp will be starting for a week. There are over 180 kids and teens coming to camp. Both camps are jumping into the topic of the tabernacle and how Christ is foreshadowed and fulfills its use. We plan to build a 1:1 replica throughout the week to teach the campers the importance of holiness. It promises to be an exciting week. The weather forecast is not great, please pray for the right kind of weather. Pray for a harmonious staff and receptive hearts for the week.
From Neumarkt there are 10 kids and teens going to camp. Along with myself, there are also 2 other church ladies going as counselors. I am very excited to see these two ladies who have been trained in the church stepping up and taking on this new challenge to council at camp.

Event 2: 5 year celebration. This summer our church celebrates our 5 year existence. It is hard to believe that it was only 5 years ago we organized as a church. So on September 17, we plan to have an open house of celebration where we plan to invite Neumarkt, the major, the churches neighbors, other sister churches to celebrate God’s faithfulness. There is much to organize and people to invite. There is much excitement for this celebration. Please pray for all the preparations. Pray for hearts to be blessed by this celebration of God’s greatness and His faithfulness.

Dear Praying Friends,

Thank you so much for praying for camp. It was a terrific week. I was able to share repeatedly with my boys how faithful God is even with the weather. Every morning it poured down rain but every afternoon when we wanted to be outside the weather was just right. We were able to play water games, go on hikes in the woods, play ball games and go swimming. God was so faithful.

The topic for teen camp was the tabernacle and how Christ fulfills it. We built it to scale on the soccer field. It was a sight to behold in how big it was and how much work it was to transport and rebuild it every time God wanted them to move. (Pictures down below)

We built parts of the tabernacle each afternoon. The teens would read in their Bibles to see how it was supposed to be built and would hen build it. The team had already purchased all the supplies to assemble but the creativity came from the teens. It was fun to work along side them to create it all. We were all blown away when the elements were placed in their spots.

On Thursday the teens gave tours of the tabernacle to the kids in kids camp. It was such a joy to hear the passion the teens had for explaining each item in the tabernacle and relating it to the gospel.

In kids camp several got saved. In teen camp many made decisions to live more holy as God has called us to holiness and we have been set free from sin. We need to choose to live more holy. Thank you for praying! Pray God will continue to work on their hearts.

We shift gears now as we gear up for our 5 year anniversary in September. We are freshening up the church building and adding some decoration elements. Our church folks are excited to share this milestone with our community.

Please pray for ยด”K” and “M.” These two husbands of members are near to accepting the gospel. Both have heard the gospel again within the last two weeks. Please pray for their hearts to be softened and for the Light of the Gospel to shine in their hearts.

We had to meet in a tent again on the campground as we have outgrown the facilities. With over a 100 bodies it was warm enough. It was such a blessing to be challenged by so many good sermons on the tabernacle. The singing was terrific in such a confined space.

This year we went to a neighboring town to share the gospel. The 93 teens sang songs, multiple of us street preached between songs, and we did evangelistic questionnaires. Every teen was able to share the gospel at least once during this evangelistic outreach. It was a blessing to see the joy on their faces.

Thanks for your prayers!

For His Glory,

Mark and Leslie Boyd
