Here is an update from my Colombian coworker Alfredo Medina:
“We are very grateful to the Lord for the support we have received through you and for your prayers.
During the last two years God has given us the desire to pray and plan for the purchase of a building for our congregation.
We believe that this is an initiative of much blessing, since this space will permit us to worship God, serve others, fellowship and extend the message of the gospel because Jesus Christ is the only hope for this city. We especially prayed and worked throughout 2023 to reach the required amount to make the purchase of the building.
The result has been surprising. God is working so that we took the first step with the help of our brothers and sisters in the faith (especially our brothers and sisters from other countries). We have made the initial payment so we can begin to use the building and we signed a contract of sale. For this reason, we want to express our sincere gratitude to all of the people that have supported us and for your continued interest in this project; we believe the offerings and resources given played a vital role in the advancement of this work.
However, this isn’t all, since we have begun the process of remodeling and finishing to pay the money we owe on the building. We believe that your donations are important to help prepare this space for our church. For this reason, we wanted to encourage you to continue to support us, since we’re convinced that any donation will contribute towards meeting the financial goals that we need to cover the costs of remodeling and paying off our new property.”
