Deb and I agree, our fellow laborers for the Gospel are an inspiration and constant, edifying encouragement to us. But you are also extending life with us, as we together disciple, globally. Our online Sunday meeting is a great example of this. It is global, it is deep and it is essential.
Global
In a recent Sunday meeting we had a congregation with members who originated from various parts of the world, most of whom, in the next week, would be traveling to other parts of the world. Our congregation is globally mobile, which means it is globally strategic. We learn the Word together and then take the Word to wherever our travels move us. This makes InterGlo Ministries strategic, indeed.
Deep
Attending that meeting was a member facing life-threatening surgery within the next week—we prayed earnestly for him and God spared his life. This same person you may have prayed for years ago, prayers which resulted in his conversion to Christianity. Another couple attending was recently transplanted from the USA back to their country of origin. Because of your prayers and giving, and the ministry to which you sent us, they return as committed believers. They continue to connect with us, which helps them in a place, where if they are caught in church, they could be persecuted. A third Sunday online attendee is on a long spiritual pilgrimage. She explained recently that she now believes in God and is starting to understand Jesus. The illustrations could go on, but I will just say this: the online ministry which God has placed us in is meeting Spiritual needs on many levels and in many places. When I say, “placed us in,†I’m referring to Deb and myself, our Sunday congregation, and all of you who continue to stand with us in prayer and giving.
Essential
In that which all of us embrace, (The Great Commission), we are commanded to make disciples of all nations. This takes creativity and commitment. One of the ways our creative God has made available to actually accomplish this task is by means of online global ministry. By effectively doing so, we can disciple the world. InterGlo Ministries is committed to fully developing our online capabilities to do just that, and you are our fellow laborers. We love you for it.
As a result of our several moves over the last few years and the various iterations of our evolving ministry, our financial support base is also changing. We are seeking new financial partners. If you are a prayer partner but not a financial partner, would you prayerfully consider joining us financially? It is easy to do so by going to InterGlo.org and clicking on the Partner/Support link. You can also find more information about our support level on the Give link at the top of the page.
Recently, we shared several opportunities Deb and I have for discipling globally by traveling internationally. In our next email prayer letter, we will update you on where we are with that.
Thank you for being our fellow laborers,
Bill and Deb
