Dear Praying Friends,

I am sorry for not getting a prayer update out to you yet this year. We are so thankful that you pray for us so regularly.

Family time. We started the year with time off in the Netherlands. We met up with both of Mark’s brothers and parents in the Netherlands. It was a sweet time of fellowship, much laughing and great to catch up with the nieces and nephews. There were 23 of us together.

TTZ. The Theological Training Institute classes in Neumarkt started the second week of January and I am teaching New Testament survey. I have 13 participants and 2 of them are from a sister church nearby. It is such a joy to teach such eager students. At the end of this semester we will have another graduation. God is training up capable servants!

Ladies retreat. Leslie and 11 other ladies from our church attended the regional ladies retreat. It was a real treat to be together with over 150 other ladies who want to walk with the Lord and are actively seeking after Him. Leslie was encouraged by the many excellent conversations with the ladies after the main sessions.

Marriages. Please be in prayer for the marriages in our church. They are under attack. I have been able to do much counseling the past few weeks to help. God is working but there are many attacks that look very different for each family. Please pray that the parents look to the Lord for their help and encouragement. He is able!

Business meeting. This past Sunday we had our annual church business meeting and it was such a joy to see the unity and harmony amongst the church members. We did much laughing and planned out what we would like to do to reach Neumarkt for Christ. It is exciting to see the Church willing to be used of God to go out on the street and proclaim Christ. Please pray for the details to be planned for these activities.

Family. We look forward to the weather warming up slightly. As the cold/flu season (hopefully) draws to an end we are looking forward to a break of swapping illness. With 8 kids it goes a few rounds in the family. Please pray for overall health and strength. The kids are looking forward to a break from school next week. They are in need of it.
Please continue to pray for the kids schooling. Both Natalie and Joshua are seniors and are writing many final exams in all their subjects in the next few months. Tobias is in 4th grade and his grades determine what school options are available to him next year. He also has been writing multiple tests a week to get enough grades by mid-year.

We are so thankful for your faithfulness to us in prayer and financially. May God continue to bless you for your faithfulness.

For His Glory,

Mark and Leslie Boyd
