Dear Praying Friends,

Thanks for praying for our our various outreaches. I wanted to give you an update on two of them.

Adventskaffee. On Sunday December 8th we had a full room (60+!!). Our celebration of Christ’s birth with cookies and coffee was very well attended. We ended up setting up another table to accommodate all those who attended. 13 unsaved guests came and heard the gospel. It was beautiful watching the church serve one another and move around the room to talk to the guests. One of the guests (F) I spent a long time talking to understood and said he would pray a prayer of repentance at home. He has yet too, but is interested in attending church regularly.

Beginners Bible Study. At the Adventskaffee I invited all the guests to a beginners Bible study in the gospel of John starting the following Wednesday evening. 3 guests came. K and his wife came. It has been exciting to watch God working on K’s heart. Please continue to pray for him to repent and accept Christ. This coming Wednesday we are doing the second of the four studies. K wants to come, but then his boss told him that he has to take a customer out to dinner on Wednesday evening. He told his wife that he should be able to drive from the restraunt straight to church for session 2. Please pray for him to follow through on this. He has many reasons not to attend, and only God can remind him and bring him to attend.

Gospel opportunities. M continues to push off a decision. He struggles with the reality of the resurrection. I have given him resources to read. He plans to attend the remaining Christmas events at church.
Mi is going through some very difficult issues and is currently in a hospital. Please pray for her to acknowledge God in her life so she can grow in her faith. God is able to set her free of her fears.
This Sunday is our kids play and many parents and grandparents have been invited. Please pray for the gospel to heard. On Christmas Eve we plan to have a candle light service and several unsaved have already mentioned that they plan to be there. It is exciting that so many are including us in their “Christmas-Traditions.”

We are so thankful for your prayers. The past two weeks have been very full and busy but we are thankful for His sustaining grace and strength. Keep praying for God to save the lost!

For His Glory,

Mark and Leslie Boyd
