Dear Praying Friends,

My heart is very full after a full weekend of ministry. God is doing great things through your prayers!

Missions Conference. This past Saturday (Feb 22), I had the joy of working with a German pastor (Christoph Rüttgers) and a team of 5 young men to plan, organize and execute a regional missions conference. 13 churches were represented and 160 -170 people were in attendance. We had 10 outside organizations there with display tables. I spoke from Matthew 28:17-20 and Christoph spoke from John 17. Jesus’ commission is to make disciples. This is not a difficult or complex thing. The place to accomplish this task is through the local church, whether local or globally. It was a tremendous blessing to see the excitement of all the participants. We also had three presentations from three new church plants, a Q/A session about church planting and how to prepare for church planting. I am so thankful for our newly formed German mission agency who sponsored this event and gave us the opportunity to organize it.
This morning in church a couple of those who attended the event gave testimony that it challenged them to be about making disciples and be intentional about being faithful where they are currently at. May God continue to work in the hearts of those who were there to make disciples. My prayer is that God will stir Germans for more missions work from our own German churches.

Discipleship. I started at basics of the faith study with one of the men who attended the beginners bible study. He is soaking up God’s word and loving the one on one time. Please pray for D to continue to grow in his faith. I also have been doing premarital counseling with a young couple who I will be marrying in May. This young couple has been so much fun to disciple in preparation for married life.

Counseling. I have spent many hours counseling individuals in the church in the past several months. This past week there were several breakthroughs in various hearts. God is transforming these individuals to see their own idols of their hearts and letting go of them. It is so exciting to watch God work in their hearts to make them more holy and dependent upon HIM in the midst of difficult life circumstances. Continue to pray for changed hearts! Thanks for praying for this change to take place.

TTZ. In our institute (TTZ) I teach one more session on the topic of Church history. I love teaching this topic as it is good to remind us of God’s working throughout history. It has been encouraging watching my students appreciate our history and why we believe what we believe throughout church history.
We also reworked the class on biblical ethics and I taught the first session this past month. We have 4 more teachers teaching on various ethical topics in a block class on a Saturday morning. This has been a great class and a great attitude to understand and think through difficult issues biblically.

Thank you so much for faithfully praying for us.

For His Glory,

Mark and Leslie Boyd
