InterGlo Ministries

international peoples/global discipleship

March 22, 2025

Dear Friends,
It is much wiser to join God in what He is doing than to try to manufacture ministry. There is a difference. As you pray with us and give to InterGlo Ministries, God is leading, and we are endeavoring to follow Him. Please thank the Lord and pray with us about the following.

Kurdish Class and Future Prospects: This Sunday afternoon, we will start our second online class in Kurdistan. This graduate-level course about evangelistic ministry will prepare the students to begin evangelistic studies within their Islamic culture.

The Bible Institute in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan/Iraq, has been granted the status of the lone licensed Bible Training Institute in Kurdistan. I desire and pray that we increase our involvement in training our beloved Kurdish friends as they minister to the nations surrounding them: Iraq, Iran, Turkey, and Syria. We have been asked to do so.

South Carolina Visitors: We will soon have several visitors travel to South Carolina. One couple who Deb and I introduced to one another back when we ministered at Notre Dame University (1983-1990). A second visitor will travel from Boston to see us. She is part of our Sunday morning online service. Like book ends, the first couple (now old friends) represent some of the first folks to whom Deb and I ministered. The young lady who will soon visit us was one of the last we ministered to in Boston. It is cool that we continue to have an edifying relationship with all of them. The edification travels both ways.
Sunday Service: A small but intimate, globally and culturally diverse group of believers meet each Sunday morning to study the book of Acts.

Heartwarming Prayer: At the end of our online meetings, I usually ask participants if they would like to pray. Recently, my heart was warmed when a friend asked if she could pray. Beautiful in its simplicity, her response revealed her open and yearning heart for God, which encouraged me.
Family Ministry: The father from China became a Christian about seven years ago. Deb now meets regularly with his wife, and recently, we began meeting online with the sons, who will soon move to America to attend high school.

Shoulder Surgery: Bill will have full shoulder replacement surgery on April 25.
Buddy: My 89-year-old brother-in-law became a Christian less than 1 year ago. He is now reading through his Bible for the first time, which we discuss on a weekly basis. He has read into the book of Ezekiel.
Moving soon: Deb and I will soon move to a property several hundred yards from where our son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren live. This allows our grandkids to “bother” us at any time. My son said, “They will interrupt your work.” My reply, “They are my work.”:-)

Neighbors Conversation: I recently met a neighbor of my vintage. Initially, I was annoyed when he interrupted my planned exercise walk. Then, after discovering I am a minister, he stated, “Maybe you can help me.” I replied, “You seem to have your life pretty much together.” His response was, “Looks can be deceiving.” I’ve got to get over being annoyed by divine interruptions:-)

Need for disciplined study: Each day, I discover new areas that require study, which are valuable for understanding and ministry. I need prayer for personal disciplined study.

Devotional Sign-Up: Some might be helped by reading the mostly daily devotional I publish on our InterGlo blog. It is designed to help busy individuals think through theological and biblical themes in bite-size chunks. I add a devotional thought when appropriate. You can subscribe to the daily blog by clicking the link, submitting your email, and verifying when you receive a verification reminder in your email box.

We love you,
Bill and Deb
