“All the way my Savior leads me. What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt his tender mercy, Who thru’ life has been my Guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort, Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me, Jesus fashions all things well.” ~hymn
Dear Prayer Warrior,
Happy Resurrection Sunday! We want to share with you some exciting news! After much prayer and seeking God’s perfect will, He has led us to relocate our Latino ministry to a city near Charlotte, North Carolina; where we will partner with a Baptist church who would like to plant a Spanish church there. They have three families attending English services while not understanding the language (the church has proven brotherly love by the way they have embraced these families). Â What has unexpectedly presented itself is this opportunity in North Carolina. It has amazed us how God has gotten our attention and has directed us to this incredible opportunity.
We do have mixed emotions in this move but are grateful for the eight years God has used us to lead over 60 souls to Himself and many more lives have been changed and impacted through His Word. Â We are now transitioning our small group under the care of a Cuban Pastor here in Katy TX and praise the Lord it is going very smoothly. We will continue to disciple them through weekly Bible studies until we officially move mid June.
The local church in NC will partner with us by allowing us to use their building free of charge which presents great opportunities with and around them, but we are still completely responsible for our own personal support. Pray for us during this time!
There is so much more to how the Lord has led us to this decision.
Isaiah 55:8-9 Â For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth; Â So are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
Sophia will be getting married June 28th to Edward Taylor; we are so excited for them! Pray they will always keep Christ in the center of their marriage and also for those traveling for the wedding.
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! Psalm 46:10
