Dear Friends,
It has been 15 days since my shoulder was replaced, and recovery is going much better than expected. We are so thankful for this. I appreciate each of you who have been praying for me.
InterGlo Ministries is maturing, enabling us to pursue our calling of Ten Civilizations, Ten Global Cities, and Ten Discipleship Centers. Our financial support is beginning to rebound, with new supporters and a church that decided to renew support, realizing that we are not retired but endeavoring to accelerate as the Lord enables.
This morning, Deb had three online meetings: 1) a Japanese language partner, 2) two children in China, and 3) two teens in China. The two children in China know Deb and me as grandma and grandpa. Today, Deb was sharing the gospel with them. The online meeting ended with an ugly face contest, which, it seems, grandpa dominated.
We are reading The Hobbit with our Chinese teenagers. This book helped me think about things eternal and to consider Christianity. We pray it will do the same for our Chinese teenager friends.
Our small InterGlo Ministries congregation will meet tomorrow morning as we study the book of Acts. This is preparing us to become an online church.
On Monday, I have two online Bible studies: one with my 90-year-old brother-in-law (a new believer) and a second with long-term disciples in China.
One prayer is that our smaller groups will one day meet together for worship online.
The third of six online courses in the Evangelism, Church Planting, and Mission will occur at the end of June. This is the third-level course of instruction in the Bible institute in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan (Iraq).
We thought we would not travel internationally this year, but those plans have changed. We tentatively plan to travel to Kurdistan in October and then to Nepal afterwards.
Think of where our Great Commission Savior has led InterGlo Ministries. We have a Sunday School with children, a youth group, and a small but committed international congregation. Our global reach extends into China, Kurdistan, Nepal, and the Dominican Republic. We minister to not-yet-believers, young believers, and church leaders. Sometimes, the road is shrouded in deep fog, but our Savior leads us forward as we join Him in building His church.
I greatly desire to expand on at least two subjects, but perhaps I can do so in the next few weeks. These include 1) our growing ministry platform, which includes three areas (InterGlo Legal, Interglo Advisors, Interglo Ministry Network), and 2) the InterGlo Blog (Bill’s Blog) ministry and sign-up.
We love you,
Bill and Deb
