Title in orange - From Crisis to Flourishing
While navigating a tough season, Amyi found herself overwhelmed, isolated, and without the support she needed to heal and care for her son, Trystin. She knew something had to change. Her story is a powerful reminder that no family should have to walk through a crisis alone.

Amyi reached out to Bringing Children Hope for support while she entered a rehabilitation program. But she also needed to know Trystin would be safe, cared for, and surrounded by love while she took those steps forward.

Through his BCH Care Family, Trystin was welcomed into a safe, Christ-centered, nurturing home. This gave Amyi peace of mind:

“Knowing that all of his needs were being met while I was able to do what I needed to do so I could become the one meeting his needs was an opportunity that I will never forget and am forever grateful for.” -Amyi

Surrounded by a caring community Amyi grew in healing, stability, and renewed hope as she began to rebuild her life.

Today, Amyi is flourishing in her community. Trystin is learning, healthy, and joyful. Amyi is pursuing a college education in social work, empowered with a goal to help others in NW Indiana facing crisis. Turning her story into a source of hope, Amyi willingly shares her journey to encourage anyone that may be thinking about reaching out for help, and to encourage families to help build a community of Care Families. Thank you for your continued prayers and support that make it possible for BCH to reach families like Amyi and Trystin.

Title - A Future Filled with Hope
Graduate student, Ja Hoi

Graduate, Ja Htoi

After losing both of her parents, Ja Htoi faced an uncertain future. In the middle of her crisis, she came to our Myanmar Agape home in 2012, where she was welcomed into a community of hope and care.

At BCH, Ja Hoi discovered more than safety and support—she came to know the love of Christ and trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Surrounded by encouragement, discipleship, and opportunity, she grew strong in her faith and graduated from Hanson Baptist Bible Seminary on March 7, 2026.

Today, Ja Htoi is flourishing in her community empowered to help others. She now faithfully serves in her local church and teaches Sunday school at the BCH Home where she was raised. Her story is a picture of healing, stability, and renewed hope—a reminder of what can happen when a child is surrounded by love, truth, and a caring community.

Restoring Hope Relationally in NW Indiana Title
We support families so they can stay together. Replacing crisis with hope, we walk alongside families and help them build a community of support, healing, and stability. Through intentional care, church engagement, and Christ-centered guidance, families are not simply helped—they are strengthened and empowered to move forward.

When necessary, parents can take important steps toward healing and restoration with the peace of mind that their children are safe and cared for. During these seasons, our Care Families open their homes to children, providing loving, Christ-centered care, stability, encouragement, and a sense of belonging. By surrounding both parents and children with support, Care Families help avoid the risk of long-term separation while preserving and strengthening the family bond.
