Work Group from CU!
A special THANK YOU to the Team from Cedarville University’s Global Outreach ministry that came to Baptist Children’s Home over their Spring Break. While others were resting at home or at the beach (and that’s just fine), 4 students chose to devote their week to finishing projects at our Mount Pleasant Home and hanging out with Beal’s and Bosquez’s.
The team (made up of Leah, Julia, Sarah, and Alex) painted, cooked, assembled, moved lots of furniture, cleaned, and decorated! They helped get us one step closer to opening our Mount Pleasant home for our next family after the flood that hit the region (and the lower floor of our home) last June.
The CU Team also invested time with our families in our St. Louis, MI homes. They played (and won) at RISK, gave devotions, chatted with the families, and put on some fantastic activities for our young people.
