Dear Praying Friends,

This past month has flown by and it is exciting to reflect on how big God is. I have often been reminded to dwell in the awe of God. He is at work and is greatly to be praised!

Ladies ministry. At the end of January there were 11 ladies from our church that went to the regional ladies retreat. One of these ladies (H) has been attending church regularly and was very intimidated by such an event. She has learned to love our ladies and decided to go. She came back rejuvenated and excited about her relationship to God. She is starting to understand the importance of doing the Christian life together in communion with one another. She has been in church faithfully and has been seeking out more relationships with the ladies at church.

TTZ. Our theological training institute is in full swing again. We have many participants. I have the joy of teaching Old Testament survey this semester. 2 of the men who moved to Nuremberg 5 years ago to attend our institute and learn in our local churches will be graduating this May. The church in Nuremberg has called one of these men to be an associate pastor upon graduation. The other is praying about how God would use him in ministry. Will you please pray for the graduates of the institute and how God would use them in ministry.

Church. The church is doing well. We have visitors regularly. Please pray for God to work in the hearts of these visitors and for our church to be ready to share Christ with them. We have a church business meeting next Sunday would you please pray as we discuss plans for the upcoming year. There is excitement and hesitation by many in the church. It is difficult when a church has been through tough times to be open with one another again. Please pray for the church to look to Christ for hope and direction. I am encouraged by multiple men who have stated they are willing to help me in various ministries. Small steps, but exciting ones!

Gospel Dinner. While the ladies were at ladies retreat, I invited one of the unsaved husbands and their kids to come over for pizza. We had a great time fellowshipping and Simeon was able to share the gospel with him (again). Please pray for K to be saved. He has had a lot of struggles lately and Christ is the solution he needs. Pray I will be able to meet with him again soon.

Children’s worker seminar. This past Saturday we had 18 individuals from 3 churches come to Neumarkt to have a children’s worker seminar. It was a blessing to teach how to prepare a lesson and have 2 from a sister church in Erlangen share how to effectively fill the rest of Sunday School. 8 participants were from Neumarkt. God is preparing people to be used of Him in His work. Please pray for these individuals as they prepare to teach.

Pause. Our mission agency (BMM) hosted a conference for their European and African missionaries two weeks ago. A time to pause from ministry and to be ministered too. It was such a blessing to spend a week with other like minded missionaries and have the kids interact with other MK’s. We came home encouraged and excited to do God’s work here in Neumarkt.

Thank you for your prayers that enable us and embolden us to preach the gospel. Thank you for your partnership with us for His Glory!

Children’s worker Seminar. 18 in attendance. It was a great time teaching and training the next generation of workers.

It was also great seeing family at the Pause conference.
