Dear Praying Friends,

We want to wish you a great start to the new year. God is going to do great things, as we serve a great God. We are excited about the opportunities that God has already opened up for us and are looking forward to what He is going to do through us. Thank you for your part in His ministry here in Germany.

Family. We are thankful for family. Over Christmas break both Marks parents and brother’s family came to Neumarkt to spend time together. There were 17 of us total in our home. It was great to spend so much time together.
We are thankful for sustained health, as we all were battling some sort of cold/flu/illness leading up to our gathering, and we were all healthy during our time together. Please pray for our continued health as we go into the new year.

Church. There is excitement in the attitude at church. After a hard end of last year with much turmoil, there is a desire to band together. I will start preaching through the book of James this Sunday and highlighting that authentic faith is lived out. We live that out together. I am excited about the opportunities to live out our faith together.

Coworkers. Our new coworkers, the McCrocklin’s, are settling into their new home. Please pray for them as Bianca is due with their third child on Valentine’s day. Please pray for their daughter as she is in 8th Grade and has been thrown into immersion learning with no helps. Please pray for upcoming meetings to see how the school can help her learn German.

TTZ. Our Theological Training Institute (TTZ) will start its Spring semester in February. I will be teaching Old Testament survey. At the close of this years semester we will have another graduation. We are excited about these men and women who will have received training for ministry. Several of them are looking for ministry opportunities. Please pray specifically for these men to be willing to be used of God in pastoral ministry.

Ladies Retreat. For the past several decades there has been a two day ladies retreat for the ladies of our various churches in January. This is the first year that the entire organization of it is in German hands. It has been a joy to help from afar to see these ministries cared for by nationals. We have 11 ladies attending from our local church. This is a huge number and we are excited to see the growth of our ladies.

We thank you and praise God for your sustaining prayers for us. We also want to say thank you for your faithful financial support of our ministry.

For His Glory,

Mark and Leslie Boyd
