MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I am thankful for good health again. However, Evelyn is in the hospital with a respiratory infection. Thank you for praying for her. I have been able to catch up on projects that had to be put off to the side. Recently several men went out with me to camp to work on projects. All the doors for the large chapel bathrooms have been finished. Several bunkbeds have been finished. The rest will have to be done while we are at camp during the retreats.
I have finished almost all the handrails up to the fifth floor at Maranatha Baptist Church. We are happy to announce that Maranatha Baptist church will graduate this December 31 to be independent from Victory Baptist Church, the mother church. Praise the Lord with us! I am still preaching on Revelation Sunday mornings.
December 13 was the graduation from the Bible College. We had 5 that graduated from the 5-year program and some from the 4-year program.
Those of you who have prayed for us down through the years know that the next three months we are busy at camp. Camp season starts December 30th. The water level in the well has already come up, so we should have plenty of water this year. Martha will be in charge of the camp concession stand again. The following is the schedule.
Youth III, ages 30-??: December 30-January 3
Families: January 6-10
Children, ages 7-11: January 12-17
Intermediates, ages: 12-15: January 19-24
Pastors in Lima: January 26-31
Men: February 4-7 (We will be in Lima with the BMM Retreat.)
Youth I, ages 15-20: February 9-14
Ladies: February 18-21
Youth II, ages: 20-30: February 23-28
Senior citizens, ages 58-??: March 2-7
